Sarath Kumar’s Chennaieil Oru Naal, a remake of Malayalam hit Traffic, champions the cause of organ donation.
Speaking about the film, Sarath Kumar says, ‘It is based on a real-life incident which happened near Chennai and the film shows different aspects of human life. The entire story unfolds in a day’.
Produced by Radikaa Sarath Kumar and Listin Stephen, the movie is directed by Shahed Kadar. Sarath Kumar plays the role of a Police Commissioner while the cast includes Radhika, Vijayakumar, Cheran,
Mallika, Prakashraj, Prasanna, Iniya, Jayaprakash and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan among others.
According to the director, ‘it carries an universal theme and appeal to all. The whole unit have given their best and we are confident that the Tamil version would impress the masses the same way Traffic did in
Listin Stephen complimented Sarath Kumar for co-producing the film that carries a strong message. We have ensured that the movie serves the right purpose and creates am awakening among the masses, he adds.
A major portion of the movie was shot in Chennai and the co-operation of the entire team is worth a mention, he adds.
