Actress Parvathy Menon, who made her debut with the super hit Notebook, has a really big film coming up, titled Mariyaan.
She is pairing opposite Dhanush in the movie Mariyaan which is based on fisher-folk and their way of living. Directed by Bharath Bala the actress is eagerly awaiting the release of the film, which is expected to push her into the big league in Kollywood.
It seems the actress is so confident about her character and performance in the film, that she believes that her name will change from Poo Parvathi to Mariyaan Parvathi in the mind of the audience. A major portion of the film has been shot in Namibia.
The theme song of ‘Mariyaan’ was canned on the lead pair at the Coastal Desert, one of the oldest deserts in the world. Parvathy Menon has some good projects in her kitty including Chennaiyil Oru Naal in Tamil and Andar Bahar in Kananda. The film has music by AR Rahman and is being produced by Venu Ravichandran under Aascar Films.
