In Pudhumugangal Thevai, which speaks about a youngster’s dream to become a filmmaker and the challenges that he faces in his mission, Sivaji Dev of Singa Kutty fame and grandson of thespian Sivaji Ganesan plays the lead role.
Directed by Maneesh Babu, the movie marks the foray of cinematographer Rajesh Yadav as actor. Banu, Vishnupriya among thers plays key roles. The movie has music by Twins Tunes.
The audio launch was held in Chennai on Friday in which veteran filmmaker Balu Mahendra, directors Samuthirakani, Cheran, Prabhu Solomon, actor Jayam Ravi and producer Editor Mohan among others took part.
Speaking about the film, the director says, ‘it has everything to entertain the masses. There is comedy, romance all through the film. It is about two youngsters with big dreams of leaving their mark in Tamil cinema coming together’.
